Mroza is a multi-talented and well known Maskandi music sensation he has proven to be one of the most important voices in the Maskandi music scene over the past year. He rose to stardom as a result of winning The SABC Song of the Year competition in 2016 for his hit single Van Damme and since then his career has been on the rise.
The success of the hit single Van Damme has taken the South African music scene by storm and has left many fans wanting more, it has also catapulted the Maskandi artist into stardom and speaks volumes of the impact his signing to power house entertainment label, Mabala Noise, has had on his career.
Mroza has released six studio albums so far which were all well received by his fans, he is now set to release his 7th studio album titled Kwakhala Nyonini under Mabala Noise. The album will feature various artists well respected in the Maskandi music scene.
2017 is set to be another big year for Mroza, as he joined forces with Entertainment powerhouse record label Mabala Noise. The Maskandi star is currently working on his seventh studio album titled Kwakhala Nyonini. With his authentic Maskadi sound and the backing of Mabala Noise, Mroza is definitely a musicians to look out for this year.

Born Sithembiso Fakude popularly known as Mroza was raised by his grandmother in Hluhluwe‚ northern KwaZulu Natal. In 2007 he moved to Johannesburg in search of a better life. It was here that he sold herbs on the side of the road in the Faraday area to survive.
Despite the fact that many fans had not heard of Mroza before his song won Song of the Year‚ the artist has been making music for several years.
Mroza has released at least six albums in his career so far. It was only with the release of Van Damme last year that his music was really able to hit the mainstream.
Mroza played his demo and sold his music on the streets of Johannesburg‚ which lead to him being discovered by Izingane Zoma’s Shobeni Khuzwayo. Mroza later signed to Mabala Noise when the company launched in 2016.
In his hit song Van Damme‚ Mroza encourages fans to believe that anything is possible‚ including beating the hardships of poverty.
